CNP Processing GmbH holds PCI DSS version 2.0 which is the standard for information security in the payment card industry, developed by international payment systems Visa and MasterCard. The standard incorporates the requirements of data protection and management of processes related to the safe operation of payment systems.

It is an XML-protocol used as additional level of security of online payments made with debit and credit cards ensuring two-factor authentication of users. This protocol was developed by Visa with the aim of enhancing security of online payments and was offered as Verified by Visa (VbV) service. Services using this protocol were also adopted by MasterCard under the name of MasterCard Secure Code.
