Case Competitions and Internships in Fintech

In our company, internships are not viewed merely as temporary employment for students, but as an important part of the development of the payment solutions industry in Kazakhstan as a whole.

Working with students allows us to share hands-on fintech experience and immerse young professionals in real-world challenges — from understanding payment infrastructure to working with both business and technical case studies.

Case competitions play a particularly important role in this process. This year, such an event took place on April 11 at Nazarbayev University, where students presented their solutions to real industry challenges. For us, this was an opportunity to see how future specialists analyze real cases, what approaches they propose, and what ideas they can bring to the development of payment solutions.
This is a two-way process. On one hand, we share knowledge accumulated over years of industry experience. On the other hand, we gain fresh perspectives, new ideas, and unconventional approaches from students who are just beginning their professional journey.

We believe that such initiatives help to:

  • develop a new generation of professionals in payments and fintech
  • increase student interest in the industry
  • reduce the gap between academic education and real business challenges

It is especially valuable when internships become the beginning of long-term collaboration, and students continue their careers as part of the team.
We sincerely believe that through such programs, we can not only develop individual companies, but also contribute to the growth of the fintech ecosystem in Kazakhstan as a whole.

If you are a student and want to try yourself in the payments industry, stay tuned for our announcements. This may become the start of your career in fintech.
